The Dulux Accredited Power Coater Program connects you with trusted local applicators, guaranteeing the best possible work and service wherever you are in New Zealand. Together with quality results from Dulux Powder Coatings, it’s everything you need to ensure your project is completed with confidence and care.

Your Accredited Power Coater will have demonstrated their ability to meet stringent quality conditions and international standards. That’s why only Dulux Accredited Powder Coaters can issue our Dulux Alumi Shield and/or Steel Shield warranties, providing further assurance that it’s all worthwhile.

To be officially recommended by Dulux, our Accredited Powder Coaters are re-assessed every 18 months. This certifies that they have demonstrated the following:

• A suitable factory is set up and processes are in place – We conduct a factory audit together with a review of processes and record keeping.
• The ability to deliver applications to specification over time – We conduct a review of all sample testing for warranty projects in the last 12 months.
• Must meet strict quality conditions and international standards – We conduct a factory audit and sample test review to ensure they can meet Dulux Alumi Shield and/or Steel Shield Warranty application requirements.

Once Accredited, a Dulux Accredited Powder Coater can obtain a warranty where required. Whether the project is residential greater then 4 stories or commercial your Powder Coater will:

1. Gain a warranty pre-approval of the product chosen, to ensure the correct product is being specified.
2. Supply powder coated samples from the project which are then tested at our New Zealand and Australian technical centres. This ensures they meet the strict standards required to gain a Dulux Alumi Shield and/or Steel Shield warranty.
