About Non-habitable

Non-habitable projects are buildings, structures or items that are not dwelling types. Examples can be bus shelters, furniture, lighting, garages, fences and bridges.

One of the largest categories is furniture which can include cabinets, racking, partitions, tables and chairs for offices, retail and exhibitions. These are all items that are not attached to a building and so not covered by the residential or commercial categories. It is important to define your project correctly to ensure the most suitable product is selected. To help in this process we utilise:
1. Industry standards for powder coatings
2. Environmental condition utilising AS4312 as a guide

The following tables details examples of projects. Please use this information as a guide to identify your project and the choice of product that you have, including exterior and interior applications.
